saturday/sunday - la crosse.

After the Dells we headed up to La Crosse to see Eric's family. It was nice to see Grandma Margie, Uncle Mark and his fiance Molly. Saturday night we went downtown to see the rotary lights - over 2 million lights on display along the river. It was really beautiful. Sunday we had brunch with Mark and Molly, and then Evan slept just about the whole way home. He was TIRED, to say the least.

friday/saturday - the dells.

Eric and I decided that this year as Christmas presents to each other we'd have a small family get-away. We slowly invited a few people to come along. First, my mom, then the Young's and Aunt Kit, and then cousin Matt. We stayed at the Copa Cobana which was great because it have an excellent waterpark for kids Evan's age, as well as a large pool for the older kids. Friday night we went out for dinner and then games at a HUGE arcade/game room.

Saturday we swam some more at the hotel and then went to lunch, where my mom thought it would be a good idea to pretend it was Evan's birthday.

christmas day - during & after dinner @ the ripple household.

Tom & Sue are quite possibly the best hosts that ever lived. They let us take over their house and feed us like king and queens. Not to mention they have a basketball court below their garage. We always have a blast whenever we are there. Thank goodness for great family!

When we got home, Evan was so tired that he walked into our bedroom and was asleep within 4 seconds. So cute I had to take a picture.
