Sunday we headed to a Brewer's game with the Zimmerman's & Cagle's. It was a lot of fun - and really, really windy. We spent some time chasing paper plates. After tailgating we headed into the game - too bad the Brew Crew played horribly, but it didn't really matter. We had great seats behind home plate (thanks for the tickets, Angie!) and it was a perfect day for a baseball game.

My good friend Sarah visited us over the weekend. Evan took an immediate liking to her...following her around the house, freaking out when she would go out to her car (thinking she was leaving), and asking her to read him books. We had lots of fun - dinner on State Street, the Farmer's Market, Rhythm & Booms, and a Mallard's game.

Another birthday celebration...Randy turned the Big 3-0! We had a great summer party, including an impromptu swim for the kids, delicious food and many lawn games. Nothing could be better for a perfect summer night!

Eric helping the boys find their baseball in the garden...what a great Dad! Happy Father's Day, Eric!

aerosmith.

Saturday afternoon/evening I had to work a "Deck Party" @ Alpine Valley for 105.1 Charlie FM - and it was a blast! About half-way through the show Rick Nielson (Cheap Trick) came on stage for a few songs. Eric was able to come with and hang out, and this was pretty much what he did all night (just kidding, mostly. He really does love his iPhone, though.)

BACK TO THE SPLASH PARK!

It's always a good time at a Madison Mallard's game, especially when it's a beautiful night and Evan is in a good mood. The games are great for little kids...play areas, a HUGE sandbox, jump stations, and of course, Maynard the Mallard. We had to promise Evan we'd go to more games this year because he was not happy when we had to leave :)
