The many faces of Grace.

Live From Studio M with The Head and the Heart. Although only 2 members performed, it was still really good. Even my mom enjoyed it!

Evan lost his first tooth, 2 months after he turned 6. Happened after school when he was apparently eating carrots...at least that's when Grandma and Evan think it happened :) So he left a note for the tooth fairy under his pillow and then next morning found a one dollar bill. I went in to wake him up for school and found him completely under his comforter. I asked him what the problem was, and he said he was disappointed that he didn't get a toy from the tooth fairy. I know in that past I've mentioned to him that the tooth fairy leaves money, but I guess we should have told him one more time :) I explained to him that he should be happy with what he got, and he agreed.

LOTS of Halloween events. Pumpkin carving at Barb & Jim's house, trick-or-treating at DeForest High School, a really nice Halloween event in downtown Delafield - awesome trick-or-treating and a lighting of hundreds of jack-o-lanterns. Then, Halloween at the Zoo and the Westmorland Parade. Kids loved it and we got lucky with great weather.

First "real" haircut for Evan...only took six years to get him one. Raking leaves into the shapes of dinosaurs at Grandma and Grandpa's house, two more pictures at Target to add to the collection, and some random photos from home.

Love these candid shots of Evan being Evan. Thoughtful, cute, and trying to intimidate.

Having fun at the Rec Center's Halloween party. Games, snacks and a movie. Kids had a blast. And yes, Eric and I find Evan's mask very creepy, just in case you were wondering :)

We were invited to attend the Rocket Rally at Evan's school to see Evan accept his award for the top runner for kindergartener's. He was very proud of himself and it brought a tear to my eye to see him go up in front of the entire school. He did great - wasn't nervous at all and was very collected. Eric and I are very proud of the young man he is becoming.

Sunday morning...coloring and playing at the Children's Museum. Check out Gracie preparing to catch her brother at the bottom of the slide.

We have got to get this stuffed animal collection under control...

Fun in La Crosse...and the first time all 5 cousins were together!
