Again we got lucky this year with fantastic weather for Evan's birthday party. We did pretty much the same thing as last year - a variety of outdoor activities. Baseball, water guns, water balloons (slingshot included), and added silly string, which was the hit of the party. Evan had a great time - well, we all had a great time! Oh, and our neighbors pet lizard stopped by, too.

Evan really enjoyed baseball this year. Especially having his dad as his coach...although time will tell if Eric coaches again :) It's not that he didn't enjoy it, it was just a time commitment that kinda of crunched some of his days. But it overall it was a good experience for both of them.

The other day Gracie had a playdate with her friend Emmy...they get along so well. Then on the way home, after a quick wardrobe change, she did a great job modeling for my camera. Later that night we met Grandma and Grandpa at the Union, where we got the classic Madison picture in the huge chair.

Another weekend in the Dells. This time we went trout fishing - yes, it was a trout farm, but the perfect opportunity for Evan and Grace for the their first experience fishing. Evan caught an 11 in. trout and was super excited. Then we headed back downtown for a tour of the Upper Dells along the river. Later in the afternoon we met friends at the Wilderness for few hours of waterpark fun. Perfect family day!
