Perfecting her smile.

First day of kindergarten for Evan. I didn't cry at any point, although of course I was very proud of him - he did great! Excited about every part of it. At the bus stop, as Evan was getting on, Gracie burst into tears. She didn't want her brother to go...or she wanted to go with. Either way, it was the most adorable time I've ever seen her cry.

When I picked up Evan after school at the bus stop, he jumped off, ran up to me, hugged my and said "Mama, I had an awesome day!" Love him.

Half cute (Evan), half creepy (Woody from Toy Story).

Ok, a jumble of a post. I've had lots of vacation days to burn lately, and it's been great. Splash parks, thank you letters, games of Sorry, Lego's, backyard fires, sleepover with Lily, swimming at Grandma & Grandpa's pool, making cupcakes and picking tomatoes at Aunt Barb and Uncle Jim's, playing at the park, and helping Mama water. Whew.

On our way to Ready-Set-Go, a night which kids get to go to school to drop off their supplies, meet their teacher, and for us parents to get medication forms filled out and check out bus schedules. Evan seems very ready for kindergarten, and Eric and I are already glad we gave him that extra year of 4K. Those August birthdays can be tricky :)

I'm thinking this needs to be sent into a certain retailer giant for their next promotion.

These two have really been getting along lately, which of course makes taking pictures easy and enjoyable.
