pumpkin patch, horse rides, haunted house, carmel apples.

After the Little Gym, we went for lunch and then it was off to the pumpkin patch, only 2 miles from our house. Evan got a little dirty, but found some great pumpkins and even better carmel apples. Nothing better than apples with warm carmel drizzled on top.

the little gym.

Sunday morning The Little Gym had an open house so we met our friends and their kids there. Evan had a blast! I think I'll have to sign him up for regular classes. Here he is chasing bubbles with his friend Bennett. Mackenize and Matthew were there as well; Evan wanted to do everything they were doing. But I drew the line at letting him hang from the uneven bars.

We got lucky again and nice weather landed on the weekend. Evan discovered tennis and the inside of a storage locker. And anytime I had a nice pile of leaves raked, the second I turned my back he was jumping in it and messing it up. But then he would grab the rake and try to help me clean it up. He's becoming such a good little boy!

stuck in a truck.

So one of my friends is trying to win a Ford F-150 as part of a radio contest. The person who stays in the truck the longest wins. They are on day 16. Every 3 hours they get a 10 minute break, and at 6pm they get 1/2 hour. During their breaks they use the restroom and wipe themselves with baby wipes as a "shower". Good luck Tommy, you're crazy!

sunday. kite exhibition.

There was lots of stuff going on around Madison thanks to the beautiful weather. We got lucky again - the park next to our house hosted a kite show, so we headed over after lunch for a little while. Evan enjoyed the kites, but liked running around the park a bit more. Here he is noticing one of the many kites flying high.

saturday. firehouse & emma's house.

The firehouse right down the road had a HUGE open house and we knew Evan would have a good time. We were not wrong. He loved the helicopter that landed and climbing in the fire truck. Later on that night, we went to our friend's house to watch the pitiful Badgers game. It was such a nice night that the kids played outside almost the entire time.

This is Evan's new way of waking around. It' so cute: he holds his hands together behind his back and wiggles his shoulders and butt.
