Wednesday night was our first concert on the square of the season. We grabbed pizza and popcorn (fancy, I know), and met Kate, Barb, Jim & Marcia downtown. Evan mostly stuffed his face with popcorn :)

Washington D.C. I still can't believe how much stuff we saw/did in 4 days total for both cities.

Eric and I had a great trip to New York City and Washington D.C. I finally was able to go on a helicopter :) HUGE thanks to my parents for watching Evan. They said he did really well - I wasn't too worried about leaving him, I knew he'd have a great time at Grandma and Grandpa's. But we did miss him. It was nice to come home to a happy kid. We had a super fun holiday weekend. Eric and I were at Alpine Valley for a double header of DMB concerts, so a big thank you to my parents for watching Evan. The 4th was awesome...the parade, Westmoreland Festival, and a massive water fight at the Ripple's. I love the 4th!

A weekend at the Ripple Cabin is in the books! We had a great time. Evan wasn't too keen on swimming, but we managed to get him in a kayak a few times and he loved it. The weather was great (although there were a few huge storms during the night) and I'm sure we'll go back next summer. Thanks Tom & Sue!
