Saturday Evan had a play date with his cousin, Mason. It’s so fun watching them interact - Evan is 14 days younger than Mason, so of course I have plenty to talk about with his mom. Here are the boys playing (it’s amazing that I actually got some pictures of just them without Wrigley in the shot - she was way to excited too have TWO little boys just her size around).

AN INNOCENT IDEA FOR YOU ON APRIL FOOLS DAY (that, for some reason, I find hilarious):

• take a screenshot of desktop (computer)
• delete all icons, and set as wallpaper.

NEW BLOG It's up and somewhat functional...and mostly is just a place for me to keep an online tab of past and current projects. But, if you or anyone you know is looking for graphic design help, please think of me! I love most anything to do with print, so when you have a few spare minutes, check out the new site:

HAPPY EASTER! Evan had a good first Easter. After brunch we dumped all our Easter eggs on him and he enjoyed playing with them and throwing them at Wrigley. My parents surprised him with a few gifts - the best one being a large Star Wars Lego set. Don't worry; we won't give it to him until he understands the little light saber isn't for eating.

THE PAST FEW DAYS Thursday we went to the WIAA State Girls Basketball Tourney to watch Middleton play Milwaukee Vincent. It was close, but Vincent prevailed and went on to win the whole thing. Eric once again did crowd control and it was rather amusing watching him interact with the high schoolers. I love taking Evan to events like this; so many of the kids come up to say hi and he gets passed around alot. I think it's good for him.

Friday we went on the first outdoor walk of the year. Evan seemed to enjoy it, despite the outfit.

Saturday we spent the morning playing and taking pictures, then headed to KidsFest at the Expo Center. There Evan met his first goat and Eric didn't seem too excited about it. Just kidding, Eric actually freaked out a little, you just can't tell in the picture.

Saturday afternoon my cousin Tracy, her husband Jeff and their 5-year-old son Max from Milwaukee came to visit and spend the night. After more playing, us adults went out to dinner where we met up with my sister Kate, and our other cousin Sara and her fiancee Brandon.

Evan was so tired this was how he fell asleep:

Sunday morning included brunch followed by the St. Patrick's Day parade around the Capitol. I had to drive the 105.1 Charlie FM Expedition, one of my favorite activities that involves the radio stations.

After the parade, we went to my parents to watch the Badgers beat the Fighting Illini. We were not happy with the selection show - a #3 seed? Not cool. Bo and the boys didn't look that happy about it either. Oh well, I can't wait for the tournament to begin. On the other hand, here is my favorite picture from the weekend!

NOT TO BE OUTDONE BY THE ADULTS, this week Ms. Wrigley and Evan snuck into the Wisconsin State Journal. They needed a picture of a dog for a local section on animals of all kinds, and they liked this one of Wrigley. It just so happened that Evan was in the picture as well!

THE NEW CAMERA I love it. LOVE IT. This is probably how I'll spend most of my free time from now on. Here are just a few pictures from this past weekend.

Last night my Aunt Barb & Uncle Jim brought over a tremendous meal. The theme was Spanish Cuisine served over three courses: Amontillado Sherry, gazpacho andaluz soup, arroz con pollo, broccoli, green beans with almonds, salad of greens, oranges, and cucumber, and to finish it off, a wonderful dessert of pumpkin custard with pecans and whipped cream. It was incredible. We couldn't believe all the little details Barb included!, from the flowers to the homemade whipped cream!

We discussed their month-long trip to India, and then they gave Evan an adorable gift: traditional Indian clothing, just as the little boys over there wear! He is going to look so cute in it (by the look of the picture it looks huge, but it should probably fit when he's around 1 year old).

BABYSITTING 101 I still sit every once in awhile for a few families, and yesterday was a great day to do so. I picked Riley and Rachel up from school, took them to the dentist, went to McDonald's for dinner, dropped Evan off at my parent's, and then met Eric at the UW Badger men's game. Together the four of us enjoyed the trouncing of Penn State, Senior's Night, as well as the celebration of the Big 10 Title. It was great.
Here's a picture of Evan playing at the dentist's office:

3 DAYS, 5 GAMES Another weekend of basketball! Eric had to work 4 playoff games for MHS, so Evan and I visited him and watched plenty. Then, Sunday, Evan and I went to the final UW women's home game of the season with my mom. Let's just say that Evan did pretty good sitting on my lap watching the game. Let's also just say that he only pulled the lady's hair in front of us a dozen times. We were going to take him with us to the men's game this Wednesday when they take on Penn State, but I've now re-thought that.

Here are a few more pictures from the weekend. Evan was in a particularly good mood, so I got a little trigger happy.

I swear, he is not drunk in this photo.

When we have Evan play with this toy, we pretend that he's a genius and is counting and doing multiplication. But then he starts to eat it, and we think twice.
