espn gameday.

Being such HUGE Badger fans, of course we went Saturday morning to the filming of ESPN Gameday at the Kohl Center before UW's game vs. Ohio State. It was so much fun! Unfortunately Eric had to work, but we met Kylie and Bennett there and it was such a blast. Fans went crazy, Bob Knight introduced Bo Ryan, and Bucky danced. We got to Jump Around with Reece Davis and Digger Phelps. It was just a great atmosphere. One of those events I'll always remember. Later I'll post a video.

To end the weekend we went to a fundraiser at a local elementary/middle school where we know many of the students. We had to wait about 30 minutes for the food, so Evan and Eric had fun playing in the hallway/stairway.

Saturday afternoon my cousin Tracy and her son Max came to town and we took advantage of the nice weather...we went to the zoo and it was GREAT! Aunt Mary joined us.

Saturday morning we went to Austin's freshman basketball game vs. Memorial. Evan was a little hard to handle...he saw all the basketballs near the team benches and all he wanted to do was go down and play with the. We lasted about a half and then had to head home for a nap.

The many faces of Evan while eating some Cheerios. Thanks to Aunt Kate for babysitting and for snapping these pics.

Evan's first masterpiece. He worked on this while at the doctor's office a few weeks back, and I just got around now to scanning it. Not too shabby for his first time holding a crayon. Now we wait to see how long until he realizes it's fun to color the walls.

We went to my parents to watch the first half of the Super Bowl and for a FANTASTIC dinner. Evan watched some kids play hockey in their backyard (Mark Johnson's family, so you know that hockey is their life), and then observed Grandpa grilling the salmon. YUM.

Sunday afternoon we met Randy, Amy and cousin Jackson at the pool for some swimming. Both boys had lots of splashing in the water with their dads.

Saturday night we went to some friends of ours - Evan had a blast playing with all their toys in the basement. And climbing their stairs. Up and down, up and down. It was a good workout.

hangin' out at home.
