Eric had to run a HUGE swim meet at the pool last weekend and he entered the raffle...and won! Two Ducks tickets, two Waterworld tickets, and a PDQ gas card. We went up to the Dells on Wednesday and had a great time. Evan was too tired at the end of the day, so we'll return at a later date to give the Ducks a try.

morning ritual.

Just about every morning when Evan wakes up, he walks into our bedroom, climbs up onto the bed, and waits for Eric or I to bring him his milk. Then it's hands behind head and ready for the Disney Channel. Usually Wrigley will join him at the end of the bed until she sees a squirrel in the backyard and then it gets crazy.

Evan's new favorite thing is to jump from the starting blocks at the pool. Over, over, and over. Good thing Eric has an abundance of patience. Next time I hope to get it on video, but for now, here's a breakdown of how he does it:

Two great shows over the weekend! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for watching over Evan. We had GREAT seats (thanks Melissa!) and Eric managed to use his phone only every once in a while :) Here are some pictures from both nights:

Evan was in a really good mood so I took a bunch of pictures on Sunday as we shopped State Street. Lots of great deals but we managed not to buy anything (always a good thing!)

Evan has always loved animals and what better place to get a close look than a fair? It was a little chilly outside for the middle of July, but it actually made it easier than to be HOT HOT HOT.
