A few videos from Denver. Two from the zoo, another of Evan doing a cute little dance at dinner one night. He is so much fun to be around and man, does he crack us up!

Evan’s favorite thing to watch on TV is Wall-E. He likes Cars and Imagination Movers, but not the way he likes Wall-E. You can understand then why he thinks the machine that cleans the pool is, in fact, Wall-E himself. It’s so funny...we get to the pool and he has to see if Wall-E is at the bottom cleaning the floor. If so, he gets as close to the edge to say hello, and we can’t leave without saying goodbye.

Do you see the resemblance?

a special message for someone who lives over the ocean:

backyard golf tournament.

My cousin Randy and some friends of his from the neighborhood put together a great event: each backyard was a different hole for the tourney...with prizes, live music and a great picnic afterwards. They even managed to get free beer from a local brewery! I expect nothing less from Randy. It was a ton of fun and they already have next years date set.

sun prairie corn fest.

Over 100,000 people from around the Midwest attend the event which serves over 70 tons of sweet corn during the weekend! It features a carnival complete with rides and games, food booths, live bands, craft show, petting zoo, kiddie korner with large inflatables, family entertainment and much more. We bought a few things for the house from the arts & crafts booths and ate LOTS of corn.

family fun day at camp randall.

We'll have to make this a tradition...we went last year and it was a blast and it was the same this year. A few highlights from the day:

1. Eric ran into one of his old students who is a freshman on the team this year.
2. Evan's love of mascots continues.
3. Eric was the one that wanted a picture of Evan with the cheerleaders, not me :)

Evan is 2 YEARS OLD!

We had Evan's birthday party over the weekend...hard to believe he is already 2 years old. We are so lucky to have a healthy and happy boy! We kept it small and just had family over for a BBQ and games for the kids.

Friday, the final day, we headed to the Denver Zoo. What a great place! We had a great time and for the most part, the animals cooperated.
