fourth of july.

The tradition continues! This was an especially exciting 4th of July, with it being the 70th Anniversary of the celebration in the Westmorland neighborhood. We started with the parade, followed by the carnival at the park, and finished the day with a BBQ/pool party at the Ripple's. It really was the perfect day. Evan had so much fun. He's lucky to have older cousins who love to play with him and shower him with attention.

Oh, and I don't want to forget to mention that it was Gracie's first time "swimming." At first she didn't really like it, but after a few minutes, she seemed ok with it and even started splashing a little.

A few weeks back we packed up the car and headed to Bradford Beach in Milwaukee, where I had set up a photo shoot with a local photographer. I'm extremely happy with the results. Evan cooperated, and despite Gracie being very tired, we managed to get a few cute shots of her. Turned out to be a great day and I'm excited to add these to our (large) collection of pictures!
