Grace and I went to Evan's fundraiser, the Rocket Run - last year they raised over 30,000! Evan had a lot of fun this year going around our neighborhood asking for support. He raised $85 and ran 26 laps. He was a little disappointed as last year he ran 27 (the top lap runner). We'll see if he won this year, but he for sure had lots of fun and gave it his all.

Gracie enjoys cheering Evan on at soccer, and putting on a show for me. Such a character, she is.

Evan really likes soccer! And especially likes it that again this year, Eric is his coach.

Some pics from the Black Keys in Milwaukee and a meet and greet with Spoon, here in Madison.

Thanks to Aunt Mary for getting Eric an ice cream cake for the big 4-0! He was happy and did eat most of it on his own.

First Grade! Evan was ready to get back to school and see all of his friends. His teacher this year is Mrs. Williams and he immediately liked her. I have noticed that he is more tired this year when he gets home, and he is getting better at doing his homework. He will tell you it's not his favorite thing to do :) We are proud of the little man he is becoming!

Aunt Mary and I had a blast at the Garth Brooks show in Chicago (despite a crappy sound system). Mary cried tears of joy, more than once.

Some random photos of our personality-stuffed Gracie.
