Gonna have to make a flip book out of these:

Yesterday Grace helped me with the laundry...ok, instead she grabbed a few of her onesies and threw them over her face :) Afterwards we went to Culvers for dinner (and then to the baseball field so Evan could watch a little bit). Anyway, Culvers was celebrating their 15th Anniversary, and they had a characteristic there who asked if he could draw Grace...well, of course he could! Gracie sat in her carseat, just staring at him being the perfect model. Turned out pretty cute.

Over the holiday weekend we had many cookouts and family meals...and we got to meet Brady's new girlfriend, Katie. It was amusing - all weekend long Evan called her "different Katie" (because she wasn't Aunt Katie, my sister). The things kids say :)

Vilas Zoo 100th Birthday.

We helped the zoo turn 100 on Saturday by enjoying a ride on the carousel, train, and playing at the park. It was especially cool to see penguins up close and the red panda active in his "cage". Evan also was able to feed the goats - very exciting for him!

Here is Gracie with a "kiss" from Grandma...

Grace Rosemary's Baptism.

Sunday, May 22, 10:00am @ St. Luke's Church in Middleton. After some last minute details were finalized (yes, Grace did fit in the baptismal gown!!!), Grace was baptised yesterday. We are so thankful for a church that fits our family well, and even more grateful for a family that will love and support Grace her entire life. A huge thank you to Aunt Mary & Uncle Steve for being Grace's godparents. It means a lot to Eric and myself that she will have a special relationship with them. And thank you to everyone who came to the service and the reception after (and to my parents for hosting and all the food preparation my mom did!).

It was a great day!

Finally a nice evening (weather wise, that is) when we have an event to go to! Friday night we went to Fitchburg Days with the Young's - it was loud, busy, and a bit overwhelming for Evan. After much debate, he managed to pick 2 games and 2 rides before we were able to tear him away from the fun :)

Despite cold temperatures and a harsh wind, we braved the elements last Saturday and made our way to the farmers market. Evan "needed" this cookie - nothing wrong with a 9AM treat, right?

working on "homework"

Never thought a frog could bring someone so much happiness and excitement...but that's just what this little froggy did for Evan. Even though we didn't give the frog any water (which Evan insisted he needed), we had a blast taking pictures and videos of the little guy.
