A few snuggle pics of Grace.

Now that summer is in full force, and the kids wear sunscreen daily, we have been seeing some lovely hairstyles from Ms. Grace. Sometimes, no matter how well we seem to wash her hair at night, the morning 'do looks like this!

It was a very busy Saturday for us...I worked in the AM, Evan had an early morning soccer game, then we headed to the other side of town for 3 separate parties - a birthday party, graduation party, and retirement party. Oh, and we got my car fixed. Not sure how we crammed it all in, but we did!

Time for a snuggle...

A few pics from last week's events...Evan's basketball, soccer, and t-ball practice. And of Gracie enjoying a nice snack and juice box. She wants so badly to run out there and join in the fun, but she can be easily sidetracked with an apple juice. Thank goodness.

We had a fantastic time at Lego Fest in Milwaukee, which happened to fall on Father's Day. Worked out great for Eric, since he loves Legos, and Evan got to enjoy dad's gift as well. Gracie and I were able to tag along as I scored tickets from the radio station. The life-size models were incredible...I think I enjoyed them even more than Evan did!

Friday morning we went to the Community Center to make Eric a few Father's Day gifts. Both kids enjoyed it and I'm sure Eric will like the handmade crafts. I know Evan is really excited to give them to his dad...in fact, I've had to tell him about 24 times in less than 24 hours that we need to wait until Sunday to give him the presents :)

We spent, for the most part, the entire weekend at the pool. Headed home to eat and to nap, but other than that we played and swam - which was great, because it was HOT this weekend.

So nice of the boys to cooperate and let me take their picture!

Tennis, anyone?

Evan and I went to the water park last night...and for the first time ventured to the water park area that has all the slides. Evan tried the smaller one with no problem and absolutely loved it. I walked over to the huge one, and sure enough, Evan is just tall enough to do it. So I casually said, " Evan, you should try the big one!" He usually responds better to things if you just mention something instead of asking or telling him. To my surprise, he said "OK!" went all the way up the stairs, waited for the guard to motion to him it was time to go, and went down! I was seriously so proud of him. No fear! Here he is at the end:

Evan and his baseball crew on their last night of indoor practice. Next week he starts t-ball, soccer, basketball, basketball camp, and swimming. Oh my, I hope we didn't sign him up for too much stuff :) We shall see!

Backyard fun!

Both kids have been sick as of late, so there has been lots of snuggle time at the Breidel household.
