Aunt Mary and I had a blast at the Garth Brooks show in Chicago (despite a crappy sound system). Mary cried tears of joy, more than once.

Some random photos of our personality-stuffed Gracie.

Evan had his tonsils out one week after his birthday, and the timing was great in that he wouldn't have to miss any school, but unfortunately that meant he couldn't go to Ohio to visit new baby Lucas. As for the procedure, he did great...only felt bad when the medicine would wear off. Here are some before and after surgery pics.

I have a lot of catching up to do. While some posts might not be in the correct order, I'll try my best to re-cap the last couple of months.

Aunt Barb took us out for dinner to Ella's Deli, the kids favorite restaurant. The food, entertainment, and company were top notch!

Again we got lucky this year with fantastic weather for Evan's birthday party. We did pretty much the same thing as last year - a variety of outdoor activities. Baseball, water guns, water balloons (slingshot included), and added silly string, which was the hit of the party. Evan had a great time - well, we all had a great time! Oh, and our neighbors pet lizard stopped by, too.

Evan really enjoyed baseball this year. Especially having his dad as his coach...although time will tell if Eric coaches again :) It's not that he didn't enjoy it, it was just a time commitment that kinda of crunched some of his days. But it overall it was a good experience for both of them.

Goofing around at Evan's baseball game.

The other day Gracie had a playdate with her friend Emmy...they get along so well. Then on the way home, after a quick wardrobe change, she did a great job modeling for my camera. Later that night we met Grandma and Grandpa at the Union, where we got the classic Madison picture in the huge chair.
