Evan was the star of the week at his school, so Grace and I went in on Wednesday and played games with the kids, and Grandma took Grace in on Friday to read a few poems. Evan loved it (but I actually think Grace liked it more). It was very interesting to see Evan in his element - how he gets along with his classmates and to see him express his independence. Very proud of him.

I had a blast working at Comic Con a few weeks back - got to see the Delorean, the Batmobile, and some cool actors (Lou Ferrigno, George Wendt, James Edward Olmos). And, my oh my, the costumes! It was fun.

I assure you, she had no idea before or after this picture was taken what this gesture means. She was just showing me a little piece of skin that was peeling off her finger. Too cute to not take a photo.

Waiting for big brother to come home from school.

Aunt Barb came to sit with Grace (I had to coach Evan's game). Evan loved having more spectators in the crowd cheering for him.

Evan had a Friday off from school, so we headed to the Dells and spent the day at Knuckleheads - it was so much fun! Unlimited attractions and 4D movies, plus a yummy lunch. Kids were so tired that night, obviously.

Learning and having fun at the childrens museum.

Helping with the laundry.

Weirdo.

A very serious conversation with great Aunt Mary.

Fast asleep.

About a month ago, Evan and I spent the night at the children's hospital for a 24-hour EEG study, to try and get more information on why he's having seizures. We haven't gotten the final results yet, but he is back on medication to keep them under control. Sidenote: he had a blast at the hospital and didn't want to leave!
