I have so many random photos on my phone of Gracie doing funny things. For example, her Cheeto dance and playing kickball in her undies :)
Evan had a fantastic year as a first grader. Really amazing to see how much he learned. Below is a picture of the kids at his end-of-the-year picnic, and on his last day with mixed emotions about school ending. We are very proud of him. Grace is excited to have him home for the summer.
Just standing on a rock, goofing around.
Super fun day in the Dells. We did the upper Dells boat tour, go-karting, a Ducks boat/land tour, ice cream, a haunted house, and the Tommy Bartlet ski show. We were all exhausted by days end. Oh, and the kids got their picture drawn! Turned out cute.
We are all enjoying Evan's baseball season. Grace plays the entire time with other kids at the park, Evan really likes his teammates and the machine pitch, and I get to sit back and relax. Everyone wins.
I went to see Nick Offerman read some of his book at the University Bookstore, and he did not disappoint. He is hilarious. I love him.
A few recent projects. I found a design for a headboard that I loved, and my dad made it for us. After I painted the headboard, I finally finished re-purposing an old door into a huge, heavy picture frame.
Checking out the dinosaur exhibit that came to the Alliant Energy Center.
