I had to work for a few hours before the Mallards game last week, and was lucky enough to score some duck blind seats from work. So, the family came and we enjoyed free food and drinks and private balcony seats. It was a great night for baseball!

We had some friends over for dinner and before it started raining, the kids had fun. Well, at least I think Tate had fun :) This must be his serious football face.

We spent Sunday making our way to Devils Lake State Park and then the Dells for some mini golfing and the Tommy Bartlett Ski Show. Mary and my dad joined the kids and I, as Eric had an open house and my Mom wasn't feeling great.

We had a great day...taking pictures, stopping at an awesome "junk yard" that a guy has turned into a museum of his amazing scrap metal sculptures. It was free admittance to all state parks and we had free coupons for the golf and ski show - so it was an amazingly free day! To top it off, at the end of the day Evan said it was the best day ever.

Found a cute bridge and used Gracie as the model...and now have a new favorite picture of her. The one where it looks like she's wearing mascara...but she's not, I promise!

Memorial Day Parade in Monona. Kids were super into getting as much candy as they could and were very happy to see the UW cheering squad and Bucky.

While Brady was back for the weekend, we took advantage of it and had a surprise baby shower for his upcoming adventure of fatherhood. It's gonna be great/hysterical watching him be a father :)

A few random other photos from the week: Evan had crazy hair day at school, so I gave him a crazy haircut, and then a few shots of Gracie waiting patiently for gymnastics to start and of her goofing around wearing my sandals.

Brady and Katie came home for the ceremony of giving Uncle Jim back to the earth. It was a beautiful day as family gathered to remember and share stories of Uncle Jim, followed by lunch and more story telling. He will be missed by us all.
