Gracie: Want to hear a joke?
Me: Sure.
Gracie: Knock knock.
Me: Knock knock who?
Gracie: Fire truck driving down the street.
Me: Fire truck driving down the street who?
Gracie: Fire truck with a ladder and you get to slide down the ladder yelling YEAH! And then you fall down and need an ambulance so the fire truck goes back to the fire station and turns the sirens off so it’s quiet.

Me: It's almost time for Evans tennis lesson. What are you going to do there, Grace?
Grace: I'm going to bother you.
Me: No, you're not.
Grace: I'm going to bother you a lot.
------------------
Me: Evan, I need you to take the movies into the post office.
Evan: I don't want to.
Me: Well, you're going to.
Grace: Yeah, take that Evan!
------------------
Grace: My favorite color is pink.
Evan: I like red, blue, gold, silver and bronze.
Grace: Bronze?
Evan: Yeah, like Lebronze James.
-------------------
Grace: I have snot.
Me: Wipe it on your pillow. (I know, that's gross, but she was stalling at bedtime).
Grace: That's not a good idea.

Telling Daddy about the UW volleyball game:
Grace: I saw bucky. He loves me. I gave him a hug. No kiss him. He has germs!

Cheering the Badgers on a the Red/White scrimmage.

Found Grace staring at the Elsa doll for over 20 seconds. I think she was using her powers to will it under the Christmas tree.

Play date with her best friend, Emmy. She really loves Emmy...pretty much talks constantly about her. Adorbs.

Jackpot! Lunch at Rocky's to make up for all the dental appointments and the installation of an expander.

Dressed as a dude from the 50's, to celebrate the 50th day of school!

Team soccer picture. It was a long season (well, it felt long to me)...and the team made progress, but I don't think they won a game all year long. Builds character, right?

Sleeping beauty.

Memories from some of our many Halloween events! Trick-or-treating in downtown Delafield, downtown Madison, at aunt Barb's house, and DeForest high school. We love Halloween!

UW Homecoming Parade with Bennett & Tate. It was great - mild weather, Grace dancing pretty much the entire time, and a high five from basketball member Josh Gasser. Go Bucky!

Pearl Jam at the Bradley Center. THEY. ARE. STILL. AWESOME!

A few random photos...

Evan won an award for running the most laps at the Rocket Run (for the second year in a row)! Super proud of him. He had such a good time, and also did a great job fundraising this year. He was very happy to get another trophy.

Just relaxing, not watching Evan play soccer...

Fall Festival at a great little park in Monona...Grace rode her first horse (it was Evan's second time, although he doesn't remember the first time, so he considers it his first time as well). It's really a nice fall event...lots of arts and crafts, games, music and food.
